Access Arts is being established to respond to the need for inclusivity and opportunities for adults with learning disabilities in Tunbridge Wells. We intend to provide scope for creative development through regular art and design workshops and to showcase artworks to establish greater exposure for artists within the local community and beyond. Our workshops will cover creative practices such as painting, sculpture, pottery, computer graphics and textiles.

We plan to run a series of ten pilot sessions to establish the viability of the workshops, the uptake and the feasibility of taking on permanent premises and running more frequent workshops, exhibitions and events. We are also keen to open a discussion with potential service users to establish how best we can serve them, what they would like to be involved in, their interests and their specific needs. We are asking those who would like to get involved to register their interest with us on the form below. We are hoping to be able to arrange transport for service users, if this is something that you would require then please include this in the form below along with the area you live in.
